In 2005 I decided to buy my first Ferrari. I’d been looking at different models for years and fell in love with the 550 Maranello, the model I saw in the movie “Bad Boys II.” I finally mentally committed to buying the car and found a Lamborghini dealer in Scottsdale, Arizona that carried high end stuff around Halloween. By November the dealer called me and had found the car. He was ready and puckered up and pulled the trigger on it. It cost me $140,000 for a shiny slightly used (16,700 miles) 2000 Titanium Maranello. Boy was I excited! (The over inflated price I paid at XXXX dealership is for another blog…) So I signed my papers and had this thing at a hundred grand below the new sticker price.

Driving down the Pacific Coast Highway 1 is an experience of a lifetime! Join us as we leave the events of Monterey and cruise the coast in incredible cars. We’ll stop at Hearst Castle before spending the first night in San Luis Obispo.

Day 3 / Tue / Aug 21 - Breakfast at nearby restaurant. Drive through Los Padres National Forest and the canyons and coast of Malibu before arriving in LA. Depart afternoon or early evening.

Day 3 / Sat / Aug 18 - Breakfast at nearby restaurant. Drive to Laguna Seca for a full day of vintage car races at the Monterey Historics. Dinner at 7pm. Overnight in Salinas.
Day 4 / Sun / Aug 19 - Breakfast at nearby restaurant. Drive to Pebble Beach for the Concours d’Elegance. Depart early evening.

This Day Drive takes the best of Southern Los Angeles. Drive the famous Ortega Highway up to Lake Elsinore then navigate the mountain turns in the San Jacinto’s before heading back to LA.

Day Drives are a chance to enjoy the cars on nearby scenic roads with other members. All routes are planned in advance and tour support is provided including navigation aids and radios. These drives typically last 4-to-8 hours, are priced at a reduced rate and include lunch. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the car with friends or family.

• Phoenix > Los Angeles

This Southern California Tour will take participants through the desert and into Los Angeles. We’ll take numerous detours to hit the more fun and scenic roads.

The Breakfast Drive to Wickenburg heads north on I-17 to Carefree Highway where the road starts to become more interesting. Enjoy high speed sweepers and great views before we stop in Wickenburg for breakfast.

Breakfast Drives give members a chance to have a lot of fun with the car in a short time while avoiding weekend warriors and Sunday drivers. These drives are a great business alternative to a round of golf or lunch meeting where participants have quality time experiencing some of the world’s greatest cars on incredible roads. All routes are planned in advance and tour support is provided including navigation aids and radios. These drives typically last 2-to-4 hours, are priced at a reduced rate and include breakfast.
